Office 2007

Oh dear! Should have read the instructions. I have an old copy of Word on my machine and I attempted to install Office 2007 without removing the old version of Word. Now both programs refuse to run. If I uninstalled 2007 using the built in program is it likely that my original copy of Word will be able to run. Thanks in advance.

Try uninstalling Office 2007 and the old Word using this, then re-install Office 2007.
  • How do you mean it refuses to run? After installation of Office 2007, it is normal on the first run for it to run a further install process. This does take quite a while. Then if you use 2003 again, it has to undo everything that the 2007 version did and so on. They don't run side by side i.e. they have to re-configure if you are using it for the first time after using the different version.
