What is the backing track they use when the EA's guess the price? In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
DunnoWhat is the backing track they use when the EA's guess the price?

Fast forward to 31 mins to listen (this woman wanted £550k)0 -
i love how the experts always have conflicting valuations0

What gets me is how one of the so called experts (EAs) can value the same 20K more than the other.
not really surprising. valuing a property is an art not a science. if you don't have three or four identical properties which have recently sold all for the same price to compare it to, you're going to be guessing.
doesn't matter whether get three chartered surveyors or three imbeciles with three haircuts each and shiny matalan suits to do the valuations - there is likely to be daylight between them.0 -
homes under the hammer isn't as good as open house with christian whatshisface.
don't understand why he persists - usually noone turns up to his open house, and on the off-chance that they do, they only ever put in a hilariously low offer.
makes better viewing, although sometimes it gets so embarassing that i have to change the channel.0 -
Yes, Martin does have quite a personal style doesn't he? His weird-collared jackets always look a size too big and that hair cut needs some serious attention. Still, I don't mind him and Lucy Alexander as they seem genuinely interested in the people on the show and really pleased when someone makes a nice home for themselves out of a wreck.0
