help plz printout problem with mono laser printer

I have an epson 6100L mono laser.

It has vertical white lines on the right side of the paper that should have ink there on the printout.

It has a new toner and the drum was replaced approx 300 pages ago due to leaving black splodges on the page.

Is there anything I can do or is it just broke?

If the toner cart was stored/transported on one end, is it possible that whoever fitted it did not rock and tilt it enough times to distribute toner along the length of the cartridge? Easy enough to check if you haven't already...

thanks for the reply but I have tried giving it a good rock/tilting already with no change.
Any other ideas?

It's possible a faulty toner cartridge i.e. it's not burning the toner onto the page correctly. Hence the power just falls off in that area. If it was a new cartridge, try contacting Epson or if it came from somewhere like cartridge world, could you get them to test it?

Do you have any pieces of paper dragging in the paper path area or can you clean the charger wires?

Thanks, there isn't any paper bits inside, there was quite a bit of toner loose inside the printer though.
I'll try and get a nw toner see if that fixes it.
