Hope someone can help me.
Been trying all day to download "Microsoft Office 2007" from the "Ultimate Steal" deal.
When I first began (earlier this morning) I had a transfer speed of something like 70+kb/sec. Which averaged about 2hrs for the download.
It failed after 51%
Since then, any attempt to download this from the website record a download speed of 16kb/sec.
I really don't have a spare 8+hrs to sit waiting at the computer for this to happen.
Firstly, I do not understand how it can drop in speed so very significantly! (I've cleaned my cache, rebooted - to no avail).
Any help, advice, tips, gratefully received.

Can you post the link please
And I dont think the problem has anything to do with your computer. Its probably their servers overloaded or whatever:idea:0 -

Use a good download manager e.g. here and it will resume downloads automatically.
:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

This is the site I'm downloading from:

Trying - that's downloading at a transfer speed of 10kb/sec :wall:
Well at least if it stops at 99% you will be able to resume without starting the download again from scratch. The speed could be the remote server or your ISP's throttling. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
I'm getting an unrestricted download. How is it now? Sending the direct link via PM.0

Basicly means the ISP is slowing ya down0

Ok, downloaded the download manager suggested, began really well with transfer speed: it is now (and it's only a few minutes) wavering between 16kb/sec and 22kb/sec
