Currently I'm working abroad in a country that has blocked all VPN transmissions which is reqd. by our company for e-mails etc., so the local IT guy did a few tweaks and got the VPN access changed from what he described was the secure "managed ipsec dual access" to the less secure "managed SSL dualaccess"......which I am assuming means these clowns in the local server can now infiltrate the mail......so when I open up the VPN start icon I reset to the secure setting but for some unknown reason something has been done which makes it automatically default to the less secure......soes anone know how I can stop this?.....it never used to do it.

What type of VPN is it that you are using? Protocol?
Is it any vendor specific VPN? Checkpoint, Juniper, MS?
What type of device are you connecting to at the other end? Firewall, ISA Server?
