today i wrote to the head office of Mars chocolate because i had a probelm with one of their chocolate bars.
I never usually bother, as it was only, what 36p? a bit more?, and i dont like to make a fuss.
but then i wondered what they would do.
do you think, like em they will send an email apologising?
or do nothing?
or send a voucher for exactly 36p to replace it?
or other action?
i am intrigued to see what they do in a case like that.

There most prob send you some vouchers or some bars of chocolate.
Dont feel bad over writing over 36p Mars Bar, last yr I wrote over a 10p bag - dip lolly, think there was no sherbet in the packet, as it was dd it was the principle.
A week later she had an apology letter and a big box of different sweets from there brand, over £5 worth of chocolate, the next day a duplicate box arrived, so we had over £10 worth of sweets for 10p........... so go for it xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

I wrote to Seabrooks crisps a few years ago just to say that i loved their crisps
A couple of weeks later a huge box arrived with a thank you letter and one of every flavour crisps that they produce! :T
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
I had a problem with some Mars sweets and they sent me a £10 voucher/"Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

That sort of answer is now history. Normally you get a small voucher (£2-5), and a letter stating something like "thank you for your letter... we take all complaints seriously... passed on to quality control... must have slipped through... voucher... hope you continue to enjoy..."bank_of_slate wrote: »I wrote to Seabrooks crisps a few years ago just to say that i loved their crisps

i received a lovely and very interesting letter from them today telling me how their sweets are made and what could have caused the problem, with £4 vouchers for mars products.
it was written very nicely, so well done Mars, even though I had almost forgotten I had sent you a letter in the first place!!!

for my next trick I am writing to Iceland about a problem with a ready meal, it was a genuine problem, and again I am curious as to what they can do.0
