Ive come into a few quid and want to pay off my credit (Egg). Do i have to pay all it off (£2144),or would they except a reduced offer.
Or would it be best to chalange the PPI first and see what happens.

a settlement usually happens when the account has been defaulted. as the account is still active, they will expect you to pay the balance in full.
if the PPI is challenged and you get money back, you may wish to clear the rest with the lump sum you have.

Would it be best to challenge the PPI first and see what happens?
If you decide on this route first, make sure you continue to meet the minimum monthly payments required. From feedback here, these issues are not always resolved quickly.People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0 -
Pay off the balance, and continue the action to reclaim PPI.
To, at least not pay the minimum, would result in your getting marks for defaults. To not clear it off will result in you giving them more interest payments.
If you can afford it, clear the card, (and may be close it,) then run the PPI claim.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
Pay the credit off, and then go down the PPI route. seem the best way to go.
