yes !!! Egg have confirmed they will pay back £1000 in PPI.

Hi
Just a quick thank you (to Martin and the team).
My (self employed) father has had confirmation that Egg are to pay back nearly £1000 in PPI from his loan that was taken out around 3 years ago.
Another great result to go along side his "full and final" settlement on a MBNA Visa account (saving around £3000 ish ).
This website is unreal to say the least.
