If you sell a car privately what is the best way to take payment? I obviously wont take a personal cheque but im also wary of taking cash. What do you think??

Cash is nice. Tho make sure you get rid of it quick incase the buyer comes back with a knife later on knowing you have cash in the house. Bankers Drafts are better, tho one quick phone call to the issuing bank will make sure it's genuine.

    Cash can be forgeries though.

    There isn't an ideal method.

    No sound advice.
