wonder if we will see free pontins hols ??

Morning All,

Just wondering if we will see and free Pointins holidays this year , its usually around this year isn't it ??? Please dont tell me ive missed them :eek: i look most days .
Do you know if Haven are doing them , there was talk of this last year but i never saw anything maybe the credit crunch hasn't helped .

also got the £10 one last year with the free £20 worth of pontins pounds too!!

I think pontins were taken over last year so maybe they are not doing it anymore. I normally book the club room for £60.00 but I haven't seen that offer either.

More people are looking for a cheaper holiday in uk so probably think they need not bother doing this for this year?

they seem to have stopped there offers, i went on a free holiday 3 years back and then the past 2 years had a £60 offer but this year havent recived anything.

reading this reminded me of wonderful holidays we used to have at haven harcourt sands. so i googled it and found some videos of it on youtube.
its so sad as it closed in 2006 and is totally derelict.....
aaahhh the good old days, it really was a lovely place.

I remember being at Butlins Filey holiday park when I was really little, it had the chalets like you see on Hi-de-Hi!!

It was the site of what is now the Primrose Valley holiday park now but there are pictures of the old Butlins Filey site online too, it was quite sad seeing it derelict as well. But that was many years ago in the mid 1980's that I was there on hols when I was just a nipper!

same here regarding offers we missed out on the
freebie last year as they had filled all the places
so instead offered 5 of us 4 nights for £40.

I rang them to see if there was any offers it seems
they have had them in the Sun and News of the World
and on leaflets posted out to past customers but I
never recieved anything in the post.It seems without a
code they will not let you book any of the holidays
at the promotional price.

So has anyone here seen any of these offers and if
so do you have a code ?

Cheapest I was offered was £115 for 4 nights in June
plus £12.50 for extra person and £10 bed linen.This is
quite a jump from last year.This price was for the basic
1 bedroom chalets

ive been searching aswell i think it was near my sons birthday last year which is next week as they started begining of june so been looking on loads of site a few times aday.

but last year they appeared in my local paper so will be checking tomorrow. but you lovely people will be the first to find out if its in there
