AVG/Bullguard problem

I have had AVG (Free) installed for a while now with no problems at all, However I recently installed Bullguard Spamfilter (Free) - Recommended by Which, and have great difficulty in receiving mail in Outlook Express. The right side of the screen fills up with multiple AVG E mail scanner messages saying connecting to server, the connection then times-out whilst connecting with the server. I have removed and re-installed Bullguard but the problem persists.
Does anyone know if there is a problem running these together? (I also have Zone Alarm but this is not affected)

I cant say if theres a problem with avg and bullguard but id ditch avg, avg isnt as good as it was once, get avast or avira

Simplest thing to try there is uninstall AVG and see if bullguard works then
If it DOES then replace AVG with AVIRA anti virus (Far safer)

But for the record ~ I wouldnt trust 'WHICH' to make me a brew

It sounds like there is a clash between AVG's email scanner and Bullguard. Personally I use Mailwasher (http://www.321download.com/LastFreeware/page2.html#Mailwasher) as a spam filter and it works great with AVG Free.
