Linksys ADSL Modem/Wireless Router & USB Adaptor £50 (Reduced from £110)

The deal was in the Argos technology price cuts leaflet but can't find the deal online.

If you buy both the following items together you save £60 and get both for £50.

Catalogue codes:

Router 676/8339
Adaptor 676/8298

The router has a built-in modem for ADSL, it will not work if you have cable broadband.

PCW did the router for £39.99 and the adapter for £29.99 a short while ago. A cracking product though.
Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????

Got this yesterday at Partick (Glasgow).

It is not realistically £110 full price though as you can get both on Amazon for £77.

    Still a good price though.

Other good buys if you cannot get this deal are....

    3Com package
    http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=97523

    or..

Netgear package at Amazon as mentioned at hotukdeals for £59.99

If I put both these items in the basket together the modem comes up as £9.99 and the USB adapter at £39.99. If I found the USB adapter doesn't work with my PC  could I return it for a refund and keep the modem for £9.99? :D

Was that a modem router or just a router at PCworld?

Why is it fraud? This is simply how Argos have chosen to apportion their costs. Anyhow, no store in the south of England appears to have both items in stock!
  • Try pc world, on line they have the two for £50ish
