2 years maybe less I was on TalkTalk and never had a problem, but one fine day a lovely (wolf in sheeps clothing) BT man rang me.
He offered me
Extremely cheap Broadband
Free hub and phone
Free bt tv box
£8 off my bill for no abroad calls
Cheap calls
Normal line charge
Said Id pay no more then what I was on talktalk £30 a month so I agreed!
They had sent no info in the two weeks (the time they give you to cancel)
got the stuff 14 days later and after that..
Week 1- First bill £170
Week 2- ANOTHER bill £80
We questioned it, id actually been charged full price for everything and no discount for abroad calls.
I managed to get them to remove the charge for the hub and box, and they'd started channel chargers which i then canceled (but still got charged that month) But was still left with a hefty bill I was told i wouldnt get for 8 weeks.
Every 3 month I get two bills one for broad band (this month £106 and phone bill £66) and I cant cancel the contract!
So now im a single mum I've been told if I remove my husbands name I will be put in another 18m contract, Like hell I am!
The hub phone you get is a RIP off I got charged £45 for 2 weeks of calls but I plugged my landline phone back in and my bill is £30 (for 3 months!) before line rental. But untill november I'm screwed, dont do the same.
Can anyone tell me if sky phone and BB is good, I love sky tv and been with them for 2-3 years. Cant wait till november :T
Sorry i know theres a million threads like this but who knows someone might be able to advise me on getting out early or something like that.

The answer is simply have absolutely NOTHING at all to do with BT. NOTHING! If at all you have a choice.0
