Variation of address and applying for Nationwide CC - what should I do

You've missed the point of my post.
Jemma blames Nationwide's dodgy database, but this situation could arise on any number of databases, if you supply different info' at various times.

What matters, from a credit scoring point of view, is that names and addresses on applications match your details as they appear on the electoral register. Given time, everything else should fall into place but, if in a hurry, I would check that these details - especially electoral status, names and current address are recorded correctly on your Experian and Equifax reports before you apply for new credit facilities
