Dla lower care mobility award

in Disability money matters
Any advice greatly appreciated. I have just been awarded DLA lower rate mobility. Could you tell me if this award opens the door for any other awards for e.g: would I get a reduction on council tax? Also do I advise tax credits that I am now receiving this.

    To get a CT reduction due to disability the following applies

    • an additional bathroom or kitchen required to meet the needs of the disabled person
    • a room (other than a bathroom, kitchen or toilet) required to meet the needs of the disabled person, and used predominantly by them
    • extra space inside the property to allow for the use of a wheelchair - wheelchairs for outdoor use only are excluded
