in Credit cards
I recently applied for a Marbles card for my DH to BT his Halifax and rotten Citicard across to, unfortunately the credit limit wasn't enough to transfer both of them onto so he transferred his Citicard which has the highest APR and left the Halifax one instead of just ringing Marbles and asking them if they could extend the limit by a couple of hundred. To make matters worse, the numpty then went and spent on the Marbles card which is only 0% for balance transfers.
After giving him a good beating
I then applied for an Egg card which is 0% for purchases for 6 months and BT's for 9 months, which he has been accepted for.
Now the situation stands
Halifax £2000 - limit £2100
Marbles £2300 - limit £3000
So in total he owes 4300 but the Egg card has only given him a limit of £3500, He's only had the Marbles card for one month and it's 0% for 9 months on BT's but normal interest on purchases.
I'm trying to work out the best way of sorting this so he pays no interest. would I be able to BT the Marbles onto the Egg card and then bt from Egg back to Marbles and then BT the Halifax card onto the Marbles? The Halifax 0% is now up so he is paying interest on all of it.
And then should I cut his fingers off so he can't tap his pin number in any more ?

Does the marbles card have the 2% fee for balance transfers that is on the current 9 month offer?
How much was the purchase that OH made?
I think these are important facts to consider before you do anything

It does have a 2 % fee but the purchases he's made are quite large ones, £500 for a new computer and a couple of hundred on other bits and bobs, he's probably spent as much again as the amount he BT'd to the Citicard.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Have had a quick think and this is one option, but sure someone else will have alook at this and give another option:
Transfer maximum possible from Egg to current account (95%) £3325 fee £50
Use this cash to pay off Marbles card and £1000 off Halifax.
Balance transfer to pay off remainder of Halifax from Marbles fee £20
Then you will have all on 0% again
Remove Egg and Marbles cards from OH untill repaid
