    Just had this off them:

    Dear Customer

    Thank you for contacting Amazon.co.uk.

We are sorry that you are disappointed with our decision to cancel

your order for "3rd Rock From The Sun - Complete [1996]".

We regret that the pricing error occurred but in our view it was

clear that the price displayed for the item was a mistake. Hence your

    order was cancelled.

We endeavour to provide our customers with the best possible online

shopping experience and we realise that on this occasion, as a result

of a pricing error, we have not met that standard.

Thank you for your understanding. We hope you will continue to enjoy

    shopping at Amazon.co.uk.

Being bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:

I have e-mailed Amazon. I don't suppose it will do much good. We'll see. Not happy they didn't let us know that it had been cancelled off my order.

Thanks to the OP anyway. I know this isn't their fault. They posted it in good faith. :)

I know its closed but...I got email confirmation this morning that my order was accepted and I presume my c/card has been billed. There's no mention that anything has been deleted...yet. When I ordered mine there were 13 left at the £13.97 price. If I don't get it..oh well.
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

Well, I'm the OP and they have cancelled mine too, so doesnt look good for anyone! The nightmare on Elm street set still looks good though!
  • I have also had the apology email, although they have also sent me a £3 voucher as they "appreciate my business". Oh well, better than nothing :-)

Amazon have it for sale now at £50.97. Still a bargain but I won't be re-ordering it at that price. I only got £20 in birthday money. :(

if it was a pricing error then why did it have a big 88% off bubble on it!!
If they email me with the standard hope you understand I'm gonna kick up a fuss!

The 88% off is generated automatically, so it was just taken from the RRP compared to Amazon's sale price. Unfortunately, no-one appeared to check until they saw the large surge in orders!!

I asked for a return in my postage charge ( as the cancellation bought the value under £15) - this they have done .

Jus rang Customer Services and they said that they couldn't honour my order as no money had been charged but they're sending an e-mail out explaining why the order was cancelled and may contain a voucher blah blah blah . . .
