I've just annoyingly checked my statement to find that Barclays have just combined two bank charges for going over my overdraft in March, are they allowed to do this, as in delay when they charge you, as I believed it should be instant?? Some advice on whether I can claim this back would be much appreicated!!

Yes they can delay charges. Not all banks charge instantly with many giving you advice of when they will charge. However, you can still start the process to claim the charges back.skintstudentcardiff wrote: »I've just annoyingly checked my statement to find that Barclays have just combined two bank charges for going over my overdraft in March, are they allowed to do this, as in delay when they charge you, as I believed it should be instant??
