child tax credit renewal pack.

hi all:D
had child tax credits renewal pack through this week .i am on incapacity benefit and dla .my husband onloy gets carers allowance.however we havent had the paperwork thing through (not sure what its called!) saying what we have had in payments for the april 08 to april 09 so i cant fill it in yet.
i did phone tax credits a few weeks ago after receiving a letter saying that if i knew rough figures to ring them which i did but i cant fill in the exact figures on the pack until we both receive these papers.
does anyone know what the paperwork is called?is it p60? also when are these due ? thanks.

not sure if I am understanding you correctly;
you are waiting for paperwork to give your accurate income to HMRC for tax credits but you say your husband is only on Carers allowance
as far as I am aware you only get a P60 when you are working for am employer as it shows your total earnings for the year, and tax paid etc
so if your husband doesn't work for an employer he won't get a P60
I don't think there is any end of year paperwork you will get from the DWP showing your benefits for the eyar- so you should calculate this yourself and send your renewal form back for your tax credits award

hi kazzah,thanks for the reply.
im on incapacity benefit and i always get a letter saying what i have been paid in the tax year,maybe because this benefit is taxable? i always go by this accurate letter when doing the child tax credit renewal and this year it hasnt arrived yet.
wasnt sure whether hubby would get the same kind of thing.

gosh - I have never heard of that and I get IB too
I have never had one in the years I have been receiving IB
but maybe it's a new thing?

I know what you mean, its a certificate of Taxable Incapacity Benefit and Income Tax. Jobcentreplus sends them out around the middle of May.

Hi Ive recieved my taxable statement a few days ago
At the bottom of the letter it states P60 substitute
It comes from the local benefit office mine was dated 3/5/09
