Septic tank failure

The septic tank which serves about 10 households is in need of repair or replacement. Does anyone know whether insurance might pay up?

You need to know if its an insured peril, if its wear or tear or a mechanical breakdown,

do you have any information on what type of tank it is, ie brickwork/fibreglass or biodisc?

It is also dependant upon how the buidings were sold, for example if you are all equally responsible for it as you have said, it should be itemised on your policy that you are responsible for a certain percentage.

I know some specialists in the Insurance Industry that deals with drainage issues, if you wish to supply me some further information, I can look into it for you.
