I would like to increase the credit limit on my card, would they increase it if I, add my husband as another card holder?

No. You need to ring and ask them to increase the credit limit. If they decline, then that's that.0

you need to pay on time, pay more than minimum if you can and always stay within your limit.
plus try and make sure your cards are not maxed out.
assuming you dont have any adverse or wont have in future, you should have periodic reviews and possible increases.0 -
Adding an extra cardholder won't make a difference to the limit as the liability is not shared, it's still all just under your name.Got Halifax Classic to reduce my interest rate by 5% woohoo - 10/06/08 Thanks MSE!
