Hi,

I would like to learn Excel VBA and I have no knowledge of programming. Can someone please suggest a good book to teach a beginner.

Thanks!

There are plently of tutorials around the net.

This looks like a good place to start. http://www.excel-vba.com/excel-vba-contents.htm

I would suggest however if you are looking for a language to learn i always recommend VB.Net (you can download express free edition from microsoft website) this will then teach you about OOP (Object Orientated Programming) and .NET with this experience VBA will be a doddle and most other .NET languages will be easier to pick up.

If you learn VBA first you will find getting into VB.Net more of a struggle as most of the syntax is similar but more in depth and OO.

    Hope this helps.

The easiest way to work out the basics is to record a macro of you doing various things to a file and then go through the code to see how it relates to what you did.
