I've got one of these from a previous bargain posting. They are actually a very good bike (and are the magnetic resistance type). I've not got round to connecting it to a PS2 yet tho!EGG are a bunch of complete bankers!0

BOARD MODS: I first posted this on Shop till you drop but it hasn't been very popular so I thought it might help people more if posted here as well. I don't have any affiliation with them or anything but I did think it was a very good offer that people might like. (course, I could be wrong....no change there then! lol)Stop looking for answers....

That's what I've been trying to find out. I want a bike with a decent amount of programmes...and can't find any information about whether they exist on this bike.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

ok, purchased, lets hope it works and I lose weight. I just need to find some games for my PC now. It would be great if you can ride the bike in GTA San Andreas!:hello:

Shopping Tips
Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.0 -
Had one of these with ex, they not too bad, resistant can be quit good from really easy (fast pedalling) to quite hard (up steep hill type), there are only a certain amount of games on the PS2 that this bike is compatible with, you stear with buttons that are on the handle bars, accellerate and (if i remember rightly) break (slow down) with pedals, it's fairly easy to setup, the only thing i found was that if in game mode it gets very competitive, you get a good work out thou (believe me).
We did have a couple of problems with it at the begining, i think it was.... a pedal needed replacing (can't remember why) and also the counter unit needed replacing, however called them up and they sent out new ones next day and we received within 3 days and didn't even have to send the broken ones back. We got a water bottle and holder with ours, not sure if they will be sending them out with them now.
You get the lead to connect from the bike to the controller port on the console, i'm sure i remember being able to play 2 player mode too, 1 person on bike and 1 person on controller.
Paid £199 for ours at the time, so yes £49 is a very good price, even if you just use it as a normal exercise bike.
It will tell you how much you've burned off in carbs etc. but don't remember it having any programs, the seat is adjustable which comes in handy for those of us who are shorter or taller than average height
Overall is a very good bike (7/10) due to only being compatible with a handfull of games (unless more have been made available).0 -
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately its the programs I'm after as it will help to keep me challenged. The bike will be an extra little gift for myself so if I'm going to do it I need to make sure that it is exactly what I want.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Yep, I noticed a lot appearing on Ebay, but you'll notice they're not going for much and in the next few days I would expect a lot more appearing, driving the price even lower. I hope no greedy person has bought in bulk to sell on Ebay :rotfl:0
