HI
Quick question for those who have ordered this and received. Whats the overall quality like?. I have purchased an excercise bike in the past and found the quality very disapointing. Reviews and comments please
Thanks

without writing a comprehensive review, the bike is very good quality, it has resistance levels and is very sturdy. The seat is a little uncomfortable, but apart from that, the bike is very high quality.0

Ivrytwr3 wrote:well i got mine and all the pieces were there. Although, the screw that connects the PC/PS2 adapter to the bike was in a seperate bag to the rest of the bolts and i had to do a little rooting around for that part.
As for the computer to the bike, are you aware you have to connect the computer at the back? The connectors run through the middle of the handlebar stem (ie the part that connects the handlebars to the base of the machine).
Yes sussed that but unfortunately no cable in the handlebar stem :-(

Received the bike yesterday and it took about 90 minutes to set up. Very sturdy, of a similar quality to gym bikes and very quiet in use which is good.
One thing to note, if the brown and white wire is connected up to a switched off PS2 the LCD display will be stuck on 0.00 - It must break a circuit. To remedy, either switch on the PS2 or remove the brown and white wire at the plug end from the adapted socket on the stem.
I figured this out when my wife was happily using the bike and watching a DVD on the PS2 , but when I switched off the PS2 and listened to the cricket the thing wasn't working. After dismantling the bike and trying every possible connection I discovered this.
Finally, the PS2 controller is working on the PS2 set up screen, but it does not work with Burnout 3 or SSX3 - it looks like it the left and right buttons can't replace the analogue controller, only digital. I have ordered Burnout 2 from Play for 7.99 see if this works.0 -
Ordered this Wednesday afternoon, still no sign (although did get confirmation email). Annoyed as waited in all day Friday.
Has anyone tried it with a PS1? I was going to nick my daughters as she doesnt use it, preferably with Coolboarders 4 snowboard game although may not work with this.
Its a good price even if it doesn't work with my outdated equipment though, just as a bike.0
