Hi

I am trying to burn a cd I have ripped to Windows Media Player. It will copy 2 tracks then I get an error message telling me that I have to check that my disc is blank or check writing speed.
We have no problem using this discs on a laptop, just main computer.

Not sure if somebody has been messing about with options on the burn tab. The writing speed is set to 'fastest'.

TIA for any help. :D

Worth putting the writing speed down to 4x/8x just to confirm that this isnt what is stopping it.

The slower the speed of writing the more "secure" the burn it (dont know if secure is the correct word) if that doesnt work i would try a different type of disc, Your CD-Burner might not like that particular make. this has been known to happen.
