Ebay dispute

Hi I have opened a dispute for goods I haven't received and have just received an Email saying "Your dispute over the payment you sent to ****** will automatically
close on 5 May 2009."

What does this mean please?
Do I want it to close?
Do I have to do anything?

TIA

Dx

I did a dispute a few years ago and I remember that I could check the status of the dispute as it progressed. i.e. they are have contacted seller, considering sellers' reply etc...
    Have you checked your status?
If its not resolved, doesn't sound like you want it closed huh?

may be you need to esclate to a claim with paypal? there is a link on the dispute page, its probably that youve only opened the first dispute process and that automatically closes after so many days. if not give paypal a ring asap

Yes i agree. If you have had no response from the seller, escalate the dispute into a claim.

If the seller does not have proof of delivery you should get your money back.

Go to paypal website and search for "Buyer Protection" and that should give you all the information you need
  • You should have escalated it ages ago.

If you haven't already done so, do it now.

You'll be covered and get all of your ££ back.

Done now..... I'm a novice at this.
It's the first claim I've had to make in 4+ years, so I have had some excellent service in the past.

    Thanks for your help
