what cable do i need?

in Techie Stuff
someone very kindly gave me a new monitor (well not new but new to me) but is missing the cable that connects to the computer. i have tried googling it but i cant find the one i need . the monitor is a packard bell model numer FT500 and says it was manufactured on 08 . 2003 i also looked at the plug part on the monitor and it says its a d-sub cable port and i counted 14 holes. does anyone know what cable i need and can this monitor be used with any kind of computer thanks
