Dont know if this helps anyone else out there ? And feel free to move this post to a more valid area thread if required.

Have just got off the phone to the FSCS and the operator there confirmed to me that at present they are completely inundated with requests at present and at the moment they are looking at 15 working days just to send acknowledge and action a request for sending out necessary claim forms.

Hey ho they may well get to my email in a weeks time that I sent nearly 2 weeks ago.
If you see a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck !!!!!! :D

We have had a claim with the FSA since Nov2008 after being found in favour of being misold PPI in June 2007 by the Financial Ombudsman Service, Picture came back and said it was no longer trading so could not pay the claim. We then went to the FSA to make a claim through them. We just spoke to the FSA who told us Picture are not yet in default so nothing can be done,we asked the question if there`s a time limit on this and was told no it could go on forever.:mad: so please do not hold your breath.

Does anyone know wot the next step would be if Picture ever go into default??? I have a form registered with the FSCS and am due a PPI payment after paying in for 3 years of near £5k in July. Wot happens if Picture dont pay? Do i offer £1 per month thereafter?? All seems chaotic has anyone got a clue?

    Hi there

To what I know of, they look into everyones applications and investigate your complaint..once its been finally official of them going into default.

I have one in with FSCS not about Picture though, and its been with them since July 2008, awaiting for the company "Twopart ltd" to go into default, not heard a thing on mine, but if you check out the above discussion thread, you will note posts on there with updates on Picture, its all moving forward, so it should not be too long now, good luck.;)

The insurance company pays out the rebate in July so you should get it if your claim has not been processed by the FSCS by then.
