laptop disc check cant open incredimail now

switched on my laptop and it said it needed to do a disc check... this went thru all fine but then it wouldnt open incredimail

i thought ok must be a problem in incredimail so i unistalled the whole thing and re installed it but it still wont open it

everything is absolutley fine but it jus wil not open incredimail it doesnt say anything it jus does nothing

any ideas??

Nobody likes Incredimail around here, when you say you uninstalled and reinstalled it how did you do it?
It might be worth downloading the latest version build 2206 and installing that.
Have you scanned your PC for viruses, spyware etc?

i have used it for years with no prob .. i did the usual uninstall and made sure all the folders were gone then reinstalled the up to date version from the site

have also now noticed that i cannot link from yahoo emails that contain links eg.. the link to tell me u had replied so had to copy paste it into the browser rather than jus click it

i used to love incredemail when i first installed it but it wasnt long before it started screwing with all my settings and even lost important emails...i steer well clear of it now

i must be lucky as i have never had probs wth it

this gets weirder cos now the laptop wont allow me to click certain links.. some work fine, others dont, i still cant use links within emails whether even my yahoo and hotmail accounts wont and i cant open incredimail at all

weird!!!!!! would appreciate some help if anyone has any suggestions

if it's windows Xp just go back to an earlier Restore point

tried that and it wont do that either <sigh>... tis weird cos some links work , some dont, there doenst seem to be any rhyme or reason to it

i spose its going to have to be a reformat ??
