Unenforceable Credit Agreements

Due to filling in a questionaire online and having to select things of interest to me,i recently received a phone call from a company claiming they may be able to write off my credit card debt due to unenforceable credit agreements. Does anybody have any more info on this and whether they have been successful or otherwise. At the moment i am a little reluctant to take this any furthur as it will involve a fee of £295.00 . If the company concerned fail to write off part of or all of my debt, they will refund £225.00 and keep £75.00 for admin costs and any work done to that point. Apparently my circumstances are perfect for this as i have held my Credit card since before 2005 and have over £1500 of debt.
Any response would be appreciated.
Regards-Rich

At least one new thread on this same old subject appears on this board every day.

Despite the endless discussion, nobody ever comes forward to report any success using these companies. Without testimonials, which are independently corroborated, I would steer well clear.

This BBC story on the subject is a good read: ;)
