Hi, I have a new laptop and I am selling my old desktop PC. It's a Dell 3100 and i'm gonna stick it on ebay but I need to know a few things but not sure how I find out. I know the Hard Drive is 80GB and if I click on properties it says Intel Celeron CPU 3.20GHz 3.19GHz, 0.99 GB of Ram.

I'm not sure if that says what the processor speed is, because people seem to list that in MHz?

Also how do I find out the memory/ram?

Can't find my original paperwork?

Thanks for your help in advance.

(PS, I have looked for the spec of the Dell 3100 and they are all slightly diff, so I have made an attempt) :D

If you download and install Ccleaner, a free usefull program, it will tell you cpu and mem. on its open screen

All very limited and not the purpose of the software.

    http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpuz/cpuz_151_setup.exe

This will tell you all. Download it, install it, untick the !!!!!! toolbar option, run it.

I can't do either of those because I have now restored the PC to factory settings and I haven't got any internet connections set up on it. AM I right in thinking if it has 0.99GB or Ram that is 1000MB?

    Correct. It's technically 1024MB or simply 1GB.

Could you not burn the download to a CD?

    i'm not very technically minded + I don't have and blank cd's I have a memory stick?

So I know I have 80GB Hard Drive, 1000MB Memory/Ram all I need to know now is the processor speed. I am assuming as it said Intel Celeron CPU 3.2GHz that means the processor speed is 3200MHz?

If so then that is all the info I need to get it listed and hopefully out the way.

Sorry if everyone thinks I am dumb but I don't want to list it as something that it's not, if that makes sense?

    A memory stick would work.

Yep RAM = Random Access Memory, most people would say 1GB instead of 1000MB.

    Correct. 1 GHz = 1000 MHz.
