And that somewhere else on the average High Street will only have been marginally better if at all.
And yes I might well get my currency from the Post Office if it's 15 miles each way to get a trivially better rate at M&S.0 -

The fact that the interbank rate might be 5% better means absolutely nothing to personal customers. It might be significant if you ran an forex exchange business - but it's really insigificant for ordinary private individuals.
