what feedback to leave? worth a neutral?

bought a welding helmet from germany , arrived today with just a label stuck on the retail box , box is smashed to hell and there was zero padding inside so its just been rolling around a loose box , fyi the helmet has a glass screen and electronics inside

the item amazingly made it okay , but im a bit miffed about the lousey packaging

the seller seems to be the manf /distributor for this item too , so its not like a naive one time seller made a boo boo

i cant make my mind up what feedback to leave..the item did get here okay after all:confused:

neutral - item arrived in one piece, just. very poor packaging.

i'd then shoot off an email to the manufacturer to express your concern, if you can be bothered.

Email them first and see what they say, if they thank you and grovel a bit I'd brobably go for a +ve (if I got out of bed on the right side)

A neutral seems uncalled for and unfair considering there was no damage. Is there a DSR for packaging?

That's what neutral is for, you've got the item, but you are unhappy about how things were handled, so a neutral is an ideal half way house.

Neutral, if it needs to go back under warranty you will have the hassle of sorting out packing.
