Tried to plug an external drive into work PC to be able to use things like Portable FireFox and transfer files from home to work but access to the external drive is being denied by adminstrator of the network. Is there an easy way to be able to make an external drive functional in such a situation ???
Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????

Sounds like an excellent way of getting fired!
Why not contact the IT crowd, to see if they will allow it?That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
LOL. :rotfl: I've created a massive powerpoint presentation at home and was thinking of an easy way to put it on the PC at work without the need to wait for a couple of weeks for someone from IT to come and look into it (if they'll show up that is). Working within the NHS makes you lose all confidence in this IT crowd. I think I'll just use Gmail to transfer the file.penrhyn wrote:Sounds like an excellent way of getting fired!
