Hi, does anyone out there know what the process is if you receive paperwork from the CSA and do not accept parentage? Does the applicant then have to sort out the ensuing DNA test and who pays for it?

If you have failed to respond to forms to say you are not the father then the csa can 'presume' you are and at that stage it is up to the father to prove he is not the father - the agency does offer dna testing but at that stage it would have to be paid by the father and refunded if he is proven not to be the father - if the paperwork is returned in the first place the test is paid for by the agency and if the person is deemed to be the father then they pay it back ... moral of the story ... better to reply straight away
