Cheap postage loopholes for ebay/amazon?

Postage costs are so high that it becomes pretty useless selling stuff on ebay because it makes the end price so high that people could get it cheaper in the shops.
Does anyone know of a loophole that would allow you to get cheaper rates on royal mail or any other delivery company?

Simple.
Send enough items so that you are entitled to a bulk discount. 1500 items per year should get you onto PPI rates.
Or stand in a field at the back of your car on a Sunday morning and forget about ebay.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
Volume.
The more you send the cheaper it is. Spend £5k a year and you can get PacketPost, £2k Destination Sort and 500/month £4 courier.
That's what we have.0
