Travel Insurance -need help badly !!!!

I am trying to get annual travel insurance for a family. I have followed the MSE steps and choosen a few from Moneysupermarket, however all the ones I have contacted have a problem with either - not doing Jersey, we are going there in the summer, and they no longer have a reciprocal agreement with the UK so need medical insurance that covers Jersey, or do not allow independent travel of my two teenagers. They often travel alone as we have relatives in other countries. I have spent the last two hours on this. Anybody know any well known companies that do both of the above on a family policy. Price is important but at this rate a more expensive policy would be worth it if I could stop wasting time.

How old are "teenagers"? Minors - under 18?
See if you can get individual policies fo the teens, and then it will not matter if travelling with you or not. But probably not able if under 16 or 18 even. Do not travel without any coverage.

Here's a thought on Jersey, as technically part of the UK, then you are not "travelling" so what about BUPA's (or similar) private medical insurance - ask them.

Norwich Union (Aviva or whatever now) used to have a "no questions asked" policy that guarantees everything called Tapestry (I know it changed name) but this is an expensive policy as you can expect.

See my other thread that has some useful Travel Insurance info:

Try not using thwe web - for this specialist sort of stuff you'll probably need a good insurance broker. Internet stuff can be very general, a broker can get almost anything written into a policy, it's just a case of if you want to pay for it.
