hi it depend on your location and how far you want to travel,?0

Most places offer a reduced price on entry, be it a discount or free carer. Check out their websites, if nothing is stated give them a call and ask the question. We have been to quite a few places that offer a discount and had some great days out that we would not have been able to do.0

You will find that a lot of places will offer a discount for disabled/carer but most DO NOT advertise this fact on their website, nor allow you to book such tickets via their websites. Take your DLA award letter with you as this seems to be a commonly accepted proof.
The only place that I know of that does allow you to book discounted tickets via their website is Alton Towers. Just choose how ever many disabled and carer you want as "disabled tickets" ie 2. If you book in advance you can get in for £14.50 each - a significant saving on their door prices.
Also when you get their go to the Guest Services office and collect your disabled and carer bands which allow you to jump all the queues (this applies even if the disabled person is not in a wheelchair). The only rule to this is that both of you must go on the ride together. If the carer wishes to go on their own they will have to queue for a ride as normal.
Hope that helps0 -
Last time I went to Alton Towers I payed £14.50 for me and 2 carers and that was on the day not on the internet.0
