Taking Money Without Permission

Right, i tried selling a few expensive items on ebay with high reserves. They didnt sell and i was left with £90's worth of fees which is fine.

I received an email regarding me forgetting my password

I had not asked ebay about my password

I now cannot log into ebay and have been through the send me a new one - which never happened

Last week i received an email saying that my fee's where overdue and how to pay etc

They have taken the money straight out of my account leaving me overdrawn which i will now get charged £35

They never sent me an email to say they where doing this???

Is this right can they do this?? I was going to send a cheque but not from that account as it was at its limit???

I would be a bit concerned that your account may have been compromised by a third party if you clicked on any sort of link regarding passwords. Have you got direct debit set up to take Paypal payments from your account for fees at all. You need get in touch with E-bay asap.

I have finally accessed my account and have numerous ebay alerts regarding the security of my account and that somebody has tried to sell on my account.

Ebay have sent me a message to say all payments regarding fees will be held for 60 days

So its obvious that the security has been compromised.

I cant find a number to contact ebay??

Yes they are really good. This happened to me a couple of weeks ago and they were brilliant at sorting it out.
