I agree.
The fact that the 'article' starts by incorrectly calling it a Labour scheme, rather than what it actually is, a GOVERNMENT scheme proves it is all about Labour and Brown bashing rather than actual News reporting.
I don’t suppose it’s actually cost 200million if they haven’t been paying it out.
I'm sure the tories would be helping these people0 -
So funny, all those Daily Mailish irate comments :rotfl:'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

I'd like to see a Government scheme launched to aid those who have invested in British Industries and businesses via the stock exchange but who now find that despite their support for British industry and British jobs, their portfolios are in the red.
Which is more important? paying a few mortgages or supporting the whole of UK industry and commerce?0 -

How many people invest in British Industries and Buisnesses vai the stockmarket it's only new stock issues that really do that.0 -
Its a disgrace that in today's Britain so many hard working families are disserviced by schemes that are hardly working.0

You did get help in the past I wonder what party removed it0

That's just journalese though. 'The Tories' was a term used to cover the Thatcher and Major Governments.
It doesn't prove a thing.0 -
Lloyds, Northern Rock Make ‘Meaningless’ Loan Promises to U.K.
The negative equity rates quoted (30% for Northern Rock and 15% Lloyds - undoubtedly most from HBOS) are rather scary."The state is the great fiction by which everybody seeks to live at the expense of everybody else." -- Frederic Bastiat, 1848.0 -

Well it certainly helped Labour get some good headlines at the time, unfortunately just like most of their schemes, they are merely headlines.

It makes me wonder if the Labour Party is sponsored by 'Real Radio' as they keep promising 'real help now' for families...
A good job they didnt extend it to 'reaL help for real families' then they would have been totally wrong on all counts.
ONE FAMILY being helped by this government is a disgrace after all the fanfare and 'lies' that Gordon Brown came out with! :mad:0
