well um - us gardeners aint much good at speeches

i was in the garden distracting myself - planted two rows of garlic, a row of shallots, um some tatties and some cornflowers - whilst not listening to the bells.

Um - without you lot i wouldn't be sitting here af tonight
without you lot i would still be sitting here feeling rubbish about how much i drink cos i thought it was only me who drank like this.
This thread and how i felt reading it - and i lurked for a good few months before i actually posted was and still is an iinspiration

whenever i think of it now, the honesty and the lovely friendliness that i have got especially when spectacularily hungover, - um wasnt that long ago - end of april was the last time i was 'drunk'

remember my post about how rubbish i felt and you lot told me to get up and pick myself up and it didn't matter, it was done and the new day is always shiney and new
    - for that my friends i will always thank you - as i am just beginning to love myself as much as i care about all of you:d:d:d:d:d:d:d.

Voice from the side lines : get off

    scurries back off
    :o

and theth_thewinnerissmilie.gif winners really are :money: You lot :)

Where's the stripy socks and wellies

Did anyone see corrie tonight and the lure of the bottle and poor peter (I know you didn't Fay as you just don't 'do' telly ). For those that dont know, peter's an alcoholic and been in recovery for a few months after burning his flat down and nearly killing his son  he had a bad situation tonight and wanted a drink. The way he played that part when he picked up the bottle and looked it, put it down and stared at it, smelt it then chucked it at the wall was so real.....I could feel the power of the drink. Well done whatever your name is, well played :T
