I've had a VERY early dinner (which was v healthy & low calorie) so am through danger zone for wine, though goodness knows if I'll get through the evening with nothing else to eat!

I could've murdered a glass in the garden this afternoon, can't believe I've got no ill-effects from yesterday (est 27 units in one day?!!). But I didn't. A major trigger is downright boredom; it's not that I've got nothing to do when I get home, it's just that it's boring household-y stuff & I usually get these jobs done glass of wine in hand. I can't change having to do them so need to think of a way of making washing up & ironing.....exciting.

    No wonder I drink :rotfl:

    Anyway, 1 afd pls 40sm

TV fest tonight, corrie, eastenders, corrie (Peter on the bottle again) & ashes to ashes, I can feel my hips spreading to the size of the sofa already.

Hope you're all OK out there.

Jo you've morphed into a small blond boy.

Not really miss piggy, it's weird though isn't it how you can not have a proper picture in your head but someone can still not look like you expect...

Am doing ok so far for my first day of the challenge, this is usually my danger time and I have had a barbecue tea too (well dh just did us all burgers on the grill :p) he is sort of joining me and trying for 20 days to lose a bit of his beer belly....he just said 'anyway I have worked it out, I could easily do 15 days this month....get hammered.....rough.....get hammered.....rough etc. etc.:eek: not sure he has quite got the right attitude (he was joking though!!)

Winebox, I am totally with you with the boredom issue, I usually open a bottle as we start the bedtime routine for the kids and while I get lunches ready and put ironing away etc... seems to make it more bearable (only at the time though, always regret it later when I crash early and feel horrible in the night/morning)
definitely need to rethink my routines....I am thinking about getting out a couple of evenings a week to the gym/cinema (basically non drinking activities)..might help with the afd's and also with my fitness too!

Thanks again to Budget Babe for doing such a great scoring job and supporting everyone...I wasn't even on the challenge in June but found here posts really motivating...:T xx

    Evening all
I too have had an early dinner and then DS2 wanted to attempt chocolate fondant puddings which of course calls for chocolate...shame. Anyway we over cooked them so will have another go tomorrow.

Stroppy, enjoy TT. I saw them way back in 1993 I'm sure I was the oldest one there.

Jo, DS2 loves Miami Ink and Kat Von D, he also has a thing for Nigella Lawson though !

Bells haven't rung tonight, but feel an early night is called for.

    hi all

yep I can agree its definately bordom that does it for me; so I had quite a boozy boring weekend. Anyway am proud to be able to say its 7.30 and I've not took a Kudzu and I dont feel that I need to. Am very tired so hopefully an early night though cant see it as I've to packed DS1 (off to Keswick in the morning with school) then I've got a lot of work to do (audio typing); dunno how much of it I'll get done though as my eyes are heavy.

My book came today and i would like to start reading it Eating, Drinking , Over-Thinking. Thanks to whomever recommended it, cant remember now but I got it off ebay and it looks good - I'll probably be able to relate to far too much of it!

so 1 day AF :T 25 to go

    Evening all :)

Touch and go this evening for me, bought AF beer in Mr T's to disguise the smell of real beer on my breath tonight, then went to the offy to get the real beer but talked myself out of it whilst sat outside the shop.

Haven't stopped screaming at everyone since I got in, had an early dinner and feel I'm probably over the worst, danger zone is still about, just got to be strong till about 9.30pm when I'll definately be over it.

Having a mulligan (or two ) over the past few days have brought me straight back to the beginning, but being told by that parent that I looked tired when I'd just had half term and should look as bright as a daisy really p!ssed me off. Tomorrow I'll probably still look just as carp but least I'll feel better :rotfl:

Absolutely stuffed from the mean chicken madras I made, had to eat it by myself in the kitchen cos when I'm AF I have a weakness for bread and butter and as OH is trying to lose weight, if he saw me chomping on a couple of slices of white crusty bread with lashings of lurpak he'd go screwy (my waistline will be growing as well as WB's at this rate :rotfl:)

Right, gonna watch the rest of corrie, then Enders then corrie again, then magazine, choklit (in secret :shhh:), then bed :D
