Balance Transfer Charges?

Options
Hi, hope someone here can help.

1). Does anyone know what Egg will charge me for balance transferring £2400 out to MBNA?

2). Also, if I do the 'Credit Card Shuffle' - and keep transferring balances from MBNA to my cheapest card e.g. HSBC - will MBNA charge me a set fee every time I move a couple of hundred pounds out?

Cheers for any info supplied.

M

    Egg Balance Transfers are free.

MBNA will charge you every time. Except maybe transfers when you first apply for your card if the wind is blowing from the east, it is the second Sunday in the month and you have an "X" in your name. That pretty much sums up their muddled application of Balance Transfer fees.

  • I got stung for my initial BT from MBNA - a £35 fee.  It annoys me the way they say they 'may' charge a fee

    take 'may' as meaning 'will'

mind u they sent me a digital phone so I feel like I've clawed the money back :D
