Thanks jcr - it's just that I bought the Tesco ones on Tuesday and have been thinking about what to use them for.

newmee, I am so envious of your Ercol chair, so fab. Everything Ercol seems to go for so much money on Ebay, I need to search harder as you only paid £5. I quite like the print on it, reminds me of the cath kidston cowboy print but it will look really fab with new fabric. My taste is mixed too, I dont like lots of floral but the painted furniture, mixing old and new etc is definitely me.

thanks tiff it was a bargain wasn't it. There were no bids in the last minute and I bid and won it! In had actually been bidding on his 2 sisters all week (a matching femal pair as aposed to the one I won, which was apparently a male!!) and they got over my budget so this really was a last minute bargain.
Funnily enough I thought the cover may have been the Cath Kidston cowboy print from the picture but realised when I picked it up that it is like a medieval tapestry scene.
Thanks for looking at the blog xxxx

:embarasse Hope I haven't upset anyone with my subliminal blog message :embarasse

AS such I will go back in and ammend my previous post and try putting it in my user profile.

Kandipandi I love your sewing....I too am developing a taste for the good 'ole Union Jack. I hope I'll be able to sew as well as you one day, am currently trying to find a beginners sewing class locally so I can learn hands on how to use the machine that's been given to me!

Hi, the shed/beach hut is lush.... Can you tell me what cuprinol colours you used?? I looked on their site today and I love the forget me not and cream for stripes, I don't know if this was your choice, but it looks loverrrly, Im very upset they dont make a very pale pink as I wanted pale pink and cream stripes Yiiikkkeeess. Also like the thought of "seagrass and cream"
Found a picture! This is my shed, it may not be the definition of shabby chic, but I love my shed!!!

I guess it could be shabby chic as I'm going to make some little curtains for the window so that I can stop the sun going right in in the summer and taking the internal temp to boiling point! I've painted the inside cream :o

Thanks Thriftkitten. It was the Forget Me Knot and the Country Cream. they are periodically on offer at either B&Q or Homebase and, as I said I only bought one litre tins and I have some left of both (although I will have finished the cream when I finish the inside of the shed, I shouldn't wonder)!

Been knitting dishcloths today! Too hot for anything energetic :D

ETA - There is pink here and they say they can be used outside. :)
