Hi all, happy beginning of the weekend!
1) High spend day. Car tax, and lots of shopping.
2) Went to Boscombe Land of Poundshops for my payday stock up on the essentials of life - such as Mini Cheddars. Also got some packets of Bill Oddie birdfood from Poundland to give to my sister as part of her bday present as she is very keen on encouraging birds into her garden.
3) Got T a huge bottle of shampoo for 25p clearance at Boots.
4) Also got him a couple of 50p t-shirts.
5) Ate leftovers from dinner for lunch.
6) Bought BOGOF pizzas first thing this morning as I knew I'd be tempted to go to Pizzahut for lunch otherwise.
7) Recieved a book from Green Metropolis. (In the Red - Diary of a recovering shopaholic!)
8) Went to mums for a free haircut!! She isn't a hairdresser, but I really can't justify paying a fortune to have my hair ever so slightly shortened.
9) Cut a MOC out of the paper.
10) Entered Cokezone points.
11) Scratch x 10p + 50p login. Have enough to cash in again now!
12) Got a free pair of cinema tickets for a preview of Looking For Eric. Yay!!I have just realised that OH and I met 15 years ago today ( we met on a birthday do and it is our friends bday today) so hopefully we will have a good evening.
Hope you do too!

Hi peeps,
Fay, hope you're feeling a wee bit better.
Did Piglet get his dvd, Miss Piggy? :rotfl:
DAwnW, congrats on getting a job interview. Fingers-crossed it all goes well :T.
OliveOyl, you made me laugh. I'm struggling to finish off some cheapo Sainsburys own-brand tea-bags :rotfl:. Never again! I want to be debt-free at some point, but not at the expense of a decent cup of tea :rotfl:.
Today i have/will:
do free scratchies - i never seem to get more than 10p wins
check wages paid in
pay monthly bill to debt collection agency
do laundry
do washing-up
check enough money in account to cover direct debts
complete online survey
finally take the plunge and put something on ebay to sell
enjoy the long weekend :T
Hope you all enjoy your break whether it's a few days at home or if your travelling further afield.

Today I
- spent my lunch hour looking into 'snowballing' online (instead of pub lunch)...and thanks to a website recommended on this site, I was able to work out how long it will take to clear my cards according to how much I pay each month. It gave me that little extra push, and I am now going through statements and interest and filing everything properly.
- drove slower to and from work on the motorway to economise on fuel
- didn't give in to my usual 4pm chocolate fix from the work vending machine.
- made my own tea at work instead of paying for it in canteen at work
- checked online banking
- used the work phone for personal calls :lipsrseal
- am typing with the lights off
- will have last nights left overs for dinner
- won't be going out tonight and will devote my friday to my finances. My boyfriend is so inspired, he's going to do the same
- will try and get some stuff on ebay...
As at 30.04.09:Bank loan £17k, MBNA c/c £12k, Bank cc £4k
Getting them all cleared...PRICELESS :j0 -
Ooooooooooo Ive got a watcher on one of my auctions!0
