    right so can you stop doing stuff for him or is that just me being very single and thus not sure how families work? is it that stupid (sorry) thing about men where they need to be told/asked to do stuff?

    does he have a mum who does everything for him and so assumes you are the same?

    I can imagine me being such a disaster a relationship - I 'd be like I am at school divving out jobs and if you don't do it doesn't get done etc. and leaving lists for people........

    sorry, I would think Bunny or Sammy would have more of a clue to help.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

    Sally, like Buffy says could he not do something else that he might prefer more? footie? arty stuff?

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I wish I could think of things he could do..what gets me is that I am left to think about things for them to do together. Why can't he turn around one morning and say "I thought I might take DD to the playpark to give you a break"or anything really, just take some initiative

    Sally, has he always been like that? my ex turned into a right horror when he was made redundant - for about 3 months before it and another 3 after.
