weight of alloys?

Anyone tell me the average weight of 16" alloys,im thinking of buying a set of 4 alloys i look for on ebay and its collection only but seller is willing to help out his end if i arrange courier,but i suppose for me to arrange courier i would need weight of each alloy and what it maybe packed into etc.
Seller told me i should see how much my alloys weigh but i have tyres on mine and that will be much more,he does not have time to weight them,any one help

U should just go down to ur local wheel and tyre and exhaust garage and ask them, i'm sure they won't mind and they might give u advice on couriers as well coz they recieve deliveries all the time.

Tyres do add on a lot of extra weight as well

With an educated guess i would say about 8-9kg per wheel (no tyres) depending on material used (usually lightweight). I based that on this website i found http://www.miata.net/faq/wheel_weights.html.

In terms of packing, when i had mine ordered, they arrived at the garage 1 wheel per box wrapped in clear film, maybe bubblewrap. So 4 boxes unless they do any bigger ones!
