Power cut.

Hi
I ve never been on this board before,but hope you s wouldn t mind giving me some advice.
At 7.15am this morning we lost our electrical supply,and it did not come back on until 4.30 pm.
Can anybody advise me if im entitled to any compensation for this or not.

    dont think so, i think compensation is worked out on a 24 hour basis
    You should be able to look it up on your last bill
    make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
    and we will never, ever return.

    I think it's £50 if there's no power for more than 18 hours.

    Should be on your supplier's website. I got the 18 hour info from googling and here:

    Thanks for that info magentasue,its just so annoying as i make alot of money on the internet and lost a full days earnings.Thankfully my freezer and things were fine still.
