Telephone number to cancel my MBNA C/C

cant find the number on statement, only have numbers to transfer balances or if i lose my card. ive got the MBNA Classic Card which the rates have boasted to 30+% from 18% when i took it out:eek: now but i refuse to use it so want to close the account, so anyone got the number for it??
and by past experience do they try and keep your custom with hard sells or just let you go??
