Can I use overdraft to pay £10 charge-list fee?

In short:
Made redundant.
Have small overdraft (not fully used).
Want to claim back on past charges.
Don't want to reveal A N Other bank account I hold so don't want to send the ubiquitous £10 cheque, drawn on that account.
Is it cheeky/acceptable to pay the bank I'm chasing with their own cheque on a slightly overdrawn - but still within agreed overdraft limit - account?
Thanks.
Mr HP.

That did occur, but I'm going to be pursuing my bank and 2 x Credit Card companies and £30 is a bit steep at the moment.natweststaffmember wrote: »Try a postal order.
Daft thing is that, 'cause I've generally behaved myself by properly administering my accounts and I've not been out of work since I left school (until now), there's not really that much to claim - just a few hundred £'s (including interest charges) at best.
Thanks, tho.
